On Friday, Al Gore’s sequel to “An Inconvenient Truth” – “An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power” – arrives in movie theaters across the country. But there’s another inconvenient sequel worth noting and, like most sequels, this one is even worse than the original.

Gore’s hypocritical home energy use and “do as I say not as I do” lifestyle has plunged to embarrassing new depths.

In just this past year, Gore burned through enough energy to power the typical American household for more than 21 years, according to a new report by the National Center for Public Policy Research. The former vice president consumed 230,889 kilowatt hours (kWh) at his Nashville residence, which includes his home, pool and driveway entry gate electricity meters. A typical family uses an average of 10,812 kWh of electricity per year, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

It gets worse.

Last September alone, Gore devoured 30,993 kWh of electricity. That’s enough to power 34 average American homes for a month. Over the last 12 months, Gore used more electricity just heating his outdoor swimming pool than six typical homes use in a year.

The National Center for Public Policy Research obtained the environmentalist’s energy usage information from individuals at the Nashville Electric Service, the utility that provides electricity to Gore’s home and much of Middle Tennessee.

In 2007, the day after Gore won an Academy Award for “An Inconvenient Truth,” I revealed Gore’s hypocritically high electric bills. In some months, I discovered, his residence gobbled up to 20 times more electricity than the average American household.

When Gore’s inconvenient truth became public knowledge, he promised to change his ways and gave his property a green makeover. Gore added 33 solar panels at a princely price tag of approximately $60,000. He also upgraded the home’s windows and ductwork, replaced the insulation, put in a driveway rainwater collection system, and installed a geothermal heating system.

The Nobel laureate also heroically went to the trouble of replacing his incandescent light bulbs with compact fluorescent ones.

In total, the renovation are estimated to cost well over $250,000.

But the home’s green facelift wasn’t enough to offset Gore’s colossal energy consumption.

Despite spending more than a quarter-million dollars on making his home more environmentally friendly, his energy consumption is higher than ever.

Those 33 solar panels generate about 12,000 kWh of electricity a year – way more than enough energy to power a typical American household. Gore is such an enormous energy hog, however, that his gigantic rooftop solar array produces just 5.7 percent of the electricity he uses in his home, or enough to power his home for a measly 21 days a year.

Gore also claims that his environmental sins are washed clean because he contributes to Green Power Switch, a scheme in which customers can donate extra money beyond the cost of their power bill to support green energy efforts. The money goes to the Tennessee Velley Authority (TVA), the source of NES’ electricity, to fund renewable energy projects.

Gore even told the “TODAY Show” that his home uses 100 percent renewable energy, but that is an outright lie.

Just because Gore donates to the Green Power Switch program doesn’t mean he receives green energy at his home. Gore gets the same electricity every other Nashville resident receives – 87 percent of which comes from nuclear, coal and natural gas power plants. About 10 percent of Gore’s electricity comes from the TVA’s environmentally devastating dams. Only a puny 3 percent comes from renewable sources such as solar and wind.

Not counting the $432 a month Gore spends on his Green Power Switch indulgences, the green extremist shells out about $22,000 a year to pay his electric bills.

Spending more than $1,800 a month on an energy bill would sink most Americans, but it’s pocket change to Gore. He has manipulated environmental concerns into a big business. When his term as vice president ended in 2001, Gore’s net worth was less than $2 million. Today, Gore is worth an estimated $300 million.

Gore apologists argue that his large home is the reason for his massive energy consumption. That’s not true, either.

According to Energy Vanguard, a company devoted to making homes more energy efficient, a residence that uses less than 10 kWh of electricity per square foot each year is considered “efficient.”  Homes that gulp down more than 20 kWh of electricity per square foot each year are labeled “energy hogs.” Gore’s house consumed 22.9 kWh per square foot in the past 12 months making him a huge energy hog by any measure.

Astonishingly, Gore also owns at least two other homes – a penthouse in San Francisco and a farmhouse in Carthage, Tennessee – so his carbon footprint is even larger than it appears.

The former veep has become a prophet of environmentalism, a religion he helped create. But he is a false prophet. He appears to exploit his followers for recognition and money, and it’s unclear whether he actually believes a word he says.

Al Gore is happy to talk the talk, but has proven completely unwilling to walk the walk when it comes to living a green lifestyle – and that should make every person question the messenger as well as the message.

The Biggest Scandal In D.C. That Know One Know’s About

The only reporters that seem to be digging into the biggest scandal that nobody knows about are the Daily Caller reporters. With all this talk about Russia Russia Russia and the fact that the DNC refuses to let the FBI  look at their servers. The Awan brothers who managed IT for some of the top Democrats in D.C. have been reported to be involved in a massive cyber-security breach along with a major fraud scheme involving the leadership of the Democratic Party. It has barely  been investigated by any of the major media outlets up to now. These same major media outlets run wild when any small rumor no matter how unsubstantiated is leaked by there friends in the swamp regarding the Trump administration.  It says an awful lot about the agenda of the major media outlets both in print and TV that such little coverage has been given to the scandal involving major Democrats . Unlike most of the investigations into the trump administration regarding Russia there are actual crimes that have been committed here but yet the media is completely silent. The even sadder fact is why any of the Republicans who run all the committees are looking deeper into this scandal. It seems like the Democrats are not the only ones participating in the resist Trump movement.

 

FBI agents seized smashed computer hard drives from the home of Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s information technology (IT) administrator, according to two sources with knowledge of the investigation.

Pakistani-born Imran Awan, long-time right-hand IT aide to the former Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairwoman, has since desperately tried to get the hard drives back, an individual whom FBI investigators interviewed in the case told The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group.

An additional source in Congress with direct knowledge of the case, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the probe, confirmed that the FBI has joined what Politico previously described as a Capitol Police criminal probe into “serious, potentially illegal, violations on the House IT network” by Imran and three of his relatives, who had access to the emails and files of the more than two dozen House Democrats who employed them on a part-time basis.

Capitol Police have also seized computer equipment tied to the Florida lawmaker.

Awan’s younger brothers, Abid and Jamal, his wife, Hina Alvi, and Rao Abbas, Imran’s best friend, are also under investigation. There have been no arrests in the case.

Global Warming Fraud, Don’t Buy Into It.

The global warming cult has become so discredited I cannot believe people still buy into the fraud. If you take a look at all the proposed remediation methods they all involve the American taxpayer being forced to pay hundreds of billions of dollars to third world shitholes and massive job losses to American workers. And of course none of the other countries have to actually do anything they just promise that maybe someday they might do something. Take time to read the Paris & Kyoto agreements, you notice one common theme LETS FUCK AMERICA. Another little tidbit is the massive transfer of wealth to far left wing like Al Gore, Goldman Sachs and Clinton Inc.

In 2000 Gore’s wealth was around $700,000 by 2015 Gores est net worth was $172.5 million dollars. Between 2008 and 2011 Gore and his Goldman Sachs pals made $218 million with the Carbon Credit Ponzi scheme. According to the LA Times Elon Musk has received $4.9 billion in taxpayer subsidies. Boatloads of other Democratic donors and bundlers have also cashed in.

President Obama’s Taxpayer-Backed Green Energy Failures

The weather may be changing but that’s why its called weather, its been changing since day one. Greenland is called Greenland because 10,000 years ago there was no ice there, I don’t think there were any coal plants back then. If you look at most of the global warming studies they all go back short periods like 200 years, their models come out quite differently when they study longer periods of history. In the 70’s the climate scientist where claiming we where all going to freeze to death. My local weatherman can’t get the 5 day weather forecast correct. Can’t say I put much faith in there predictions on the next 100 years. The dirty little secret about research scientist are in many circumstances there incomes are based on there research results. So during the past decade unless you advocated the man made global warming myth, you did not get a grant. Colleges have actually terminated climatologist researchers who push back on the myth.

Energy has changed more people’s lives than any other thing since the dawn of mankind. I think the 80 year women in India is better off with an electric powered washing machine in here home then without it. The the global warming crowd would rather she haul 50 pounds of clothes a mile down to the river where she can stand in the freezing water and wash her families clothes in yak shit infested water.

I am not saying we should not be addressing pollution and clean water here in the United States of America, but many of the issues can be addressed thru basic capitalism. People who demand clean energy  can buy it on their own, basically put there money where there mouths are. The taxpayers should not be subsidizing  clean energy or any energy for that matter including big oil. Taxpayers in the rust belt who have been decimated by the west coast tech boom should not have to subsidize solar panels and Tesla’s for millionaires at Google, Apple and Facebook. If the left does not want coal then maybe they should manufacture Iphone’s and other gadgets in West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Pull workers out of the mines by paying them more then what they make in the mines. Maybe The Gates Foundation could fund STEM traing for Americans instead of building school’s for the LGBTQRTYFU crowd in India. Its time they quite bitching and invest in America, bring those hundreds of billions back to there home country.

Tweeter in Chief, Hit’em Hard

I absolutely love the fact that the progressive left melts down and becomes unhinged every time Trump tweets. There is no limit to the vile things that the left can say about any Republican, but god forbid a conservative stands up and defends themselves. Personally I hope that more Republicans take heed of Trump and start hitting back. For too long Republicans have acted like lapdogs while the other side lies and misrepresents policy differences. If Trump was smart everytime he opens his mouth or “Tweets” he needs to say “I AM NOT A POLITICIAN, I RAN TO FIX THINGS, I DO NOT CARE IF I AM RE-ELECTED, I AM HERE TO GET THINGS DONE, THEN GO HOME” Then he should go after Republicans and point out that they where elected to fix things, if they can’t they should pack up a go home.

Even if Trump only gets four years in office I hope he burns DC and the elites to the ground. To refer to Washington as the swamp actually insults swamps, DC is’s more like a cesspool full of maggots and leeches. The unhinged spasm of moral indignation that the media have suddenly found proves they need to get out of DC and experience the crap middle-america has put up with over the past 8 years. The media and DC elite work hand in hand to protect there elitist paradise. Notice how the same tired old duche bags are dragged out every time the media wants to bash Trump. Cue John McCain or Lindsay Graham on the Republican side and on the Democratic side take your pick, the list is long. I have no great affection for President Trump, but I agree with his agenda. The Democratic Party and mainstream media have become increasingly consumed with the narrative that Donald Trump’s election win is largely influenced by Russian hacking.

The narrative is centered around two hacks–the hack of a DNC server that led to the release of embarrassing emails during the Democratic National Convention, and the hack of John Podesta’s email which led to several embarrassing moments for the Clinton campaign in October 2016. Both are supposedly the result of the Russians.

The Russia story is back in the headlines once again after reports surrounding former President Barack Obama’s attempts to “punish” Russia for its interference.

However, there is still a cloud of doubt hanging over the DNC’s Russia narrative on the breach of the DNC servers.

The analysis that alleged that Russia was behind the DNC server breach was carried out not by the U.S. government, but by the private security group CrowdStrike.

CrowdStrike is the sole source of this claim, with their June 2016 report, “Bears in the Midst: Intrusion into the Democratic National Committee” being the basis of the DNC’s Russian hacking allegations.

Here are five key points about CrowdStrike that the mainstream media is ignoring:

1. Obama Appoints CrowdStrike Officer To Admin Post Two Months Before June 2016 Report On Russia Hacking DNC

In April 2016, two months before the June report that alleged a Russian conspiracy, former President Barack Obama appointed Steven Chabinsky, the general counsel and chief risk officer for CrowdStrike, to the Commission on Enhancing National Cybersecurity.

CrowdStrike co-founder George Kurtz said at the time, “We wish Steve and the rest of the Commissioners every success in this important effort. Their dedicated and thoughtful leadership on these issues holds great potential for promoting innovation and the benefits of technology, while lowering the very real security risks we are facing today.”

2. The FBI Never Looked At The DNC’s Servers — Only CrowdStrike Did

As far as we know, the FBI still has not examined the DNC server that Russia allegedly hacked.

There has been no corroboration or second opinion on who may have hacked the server. The only source for this claim is CrowdStrike, who began monitoring the DNC system on May 5th, 2016, according to DailyMail.com.

The DNC also reportedly paid $168,000 to CrowdStrike.

3. Comey Contradicted The DNC’s Story On The FBI Asking To See The Server

The DNC claimed in January that the reason the FBI never examined their hacked server was simple–the FBI never requested to do so. Yet, DNC deputy communications director Eric Walker gave told BuzzFeed News in an email, “The DNC had several meetings with representatives of the FBI’s Cyber Division and its Washington (DC) Field Office, the Department of Justice’s National Security Division, and U.S. Attorney’s Offices, and it responded to a variety of requests for cooperation, but the FBI never requested access to the DNC’s computer servers.”

However, this claim was contradicted by then-FBI director James Comey, who said in a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing in January that there were “multiple requests at different levels” to look at the DNC’s servers. Instead, Comey said a “highly respected private company” got access to the servers–meaning CrowdStrike.

A senior FBI official told WIRED in January, “The FBI repeatedly stressed to DNC officials the necessity of obtaining direct access to servers and data, only to be rebuffed until well after the initial compromise had been mitigated.”

“This left the FBI no choice but to rely upon a third party for information. These actions caused significant delays and inhibited the FBI from addressing the intrusion earlier.”

As Josephine Wolff of Slate pointed out, “…whether because they were denied access or simply never asked for it, the FBI instead used the analysis of the DNC breach conducted by security firm CrowdStrike as the basis for its investigation. Regardless of who is telling the truth about what really happened, perhaps the most astonishing thing about this probe is that a private firm’s investigation and attribution was deemed sufficient by both the DNC and the FBI.”

4. CrowdStrike Co-Founder Is Fellow On Russia Hawk Group, Has Connections To George Soros, Ukrainian Billionaire

Co-Founder and CTO of CrowdStrike Dmitri Alperovitch is a nonresident senior fellow on the Atlantic Council.

The Atlantic Council is hawkish on Russia, previously publishing reports about topics like how the West can “get tougher” on Russia, how to “fight back Against Russian political warfare,” how to respond “to Russia’s Anti-Western Aggression.”

Other articles are titled, “From Russia with Hate: The Kremlin’s Support for Violent Extremism in Central Europe” and “Here’s Why You Should Worry About Russian Propaganda.”

In one article published by the Atlantic Council, writer Stephen Blank claims that Russia is a more urgent security threat than terrorism.

Further, the Atlantic Council is funded by NATO, enhancing the hawkish view on Russia.

The Atlantic Council is also funded by the “Open Society Initiative for Europe,” a program of leftist billionaire George Soros’ Open Society Foundation.

The Open Society Initiative for Europe has written that they support, “initiatives that strengthen the protection of migrants and the politics of inclusion, giving the leading role and voice in advocating policies and social change to migrants and refugees, their descendants, and their allies in civil society.”

The Atlantic Council is also funded by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation.

Pinchuk is a Ukrainian billionaire who reportedly gave $25 million to the Clinton Foundation, and was invited to Clinton’s home for a dinner in 2012 while she was secretary of state, despite an earlier denial from a Clinton spokesperson that “never on her schedule” during her time as Secretary.

5. CrowdStrike Is Funded By Clinton-Loving Google $$

Finally, it’s worth pointing out that CrowdStrike received $100 million in investments led by Google Capital (since re-branded as CapitalG) in 2015.

CapitalG is owned by Alphabet, and Eric Schmidt, Alphabet’s chairman, was a supporter of Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election. More than just supporting Clinton, leaked emails from Wikileaks in November 2016 showed that in 2014 he wanted to have an active role in the campaign.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Schmidt “sent a Clinton campaign official a lengthy memo with advice on running the campaign. He told campaign officials he was ‘ready to fund, advise recruit talent,’ and ‘clearly wants to be head outside advisor,’ according to a 2014 email from Clinton campaign Chairman John Podesta to campaign manager Robby Mook.”

And Politico reported in November 2016 that Schmidt “served in a personal capacity as an adviser to the Clinton operation,” and wore a “staff” badge at her election night party.

Schmidt also funded a startup called, “The Groundwork.” An article in Quartz titled, “The stealthy, Eric Schmidt-backed startup that’s working to put Hillary Clinton in the White House,” details its operations.

“The Groundwork, according to Democratic campaign operatives and technologists, is part of efforts by Schmidt—the executive chairman of Google parent-company Alphabet—to ensure that Clinton has the engineering talent needed to win the election,” the article says.

“And it is one of a series of quiet investments by Schmidt that recognize how modern political campaigns are run, with data analytics and digital outreach as vital ingredients that allow candidates to find, court, and turn out critical voter blocs.”

Reality Leigh Winner, the 25-year-old government contractor who recently stole classified documents from the National Security Agency, has revealed her strategy for avoiding jail time: play the “pretty, white and cute” card.

Lets all hope this self righteous little millennial gets the full “Prison Bitch” experience. It’s also imperative that the Justice Department not only throws the book at her but piles on every charge possible. When caught these leakers should never see the light of day again. If these folks feel so strongly about what they’re doing they should hold a press conference in front of the White House and present the material to the public and then go to prison. If this administration had any brains unless the press has verified sourced information that they should not even answer the questions. There again if all these leakers feel the information is so important then they should attach their names to it, instead of being the cowardly little pieces of shit they are and anonymously disseminating the information. if the United States ever gets in hands on Edward Snowden he should be put in front of a firing squad.

What I really would like to know is how incompetent are the intelligence agencies that they hire these morons. There is no way that all these private contractors should have access to this kind of intelligence. There should also be some system that leaves a bread trail of when and who had access to the information. Or better yet we need to severely cut down on the number of intelligence agencies there are. Over the past two decades these agencies have missed almost all of the major TERRORIST ACTIONS. What purpose do they serve but to employ thousands of Ivy League blue bloods who sit around pontificating about world events. Ask anyone who has served downrange and they will tell you just how useless most of these agencies are for the real boots on the ground. Everyone seems to think that agencies like the CIA are part of the vast right wing conspiracy but in reality they are mainly staffed with far left bureaucrats who have never served on the battlefield. Unfortunately gathering good information is a dirty business and most of the electorate does not have the stomach to do the things required for timely and accurate intelligence to destroy our enemies.

A group of illegal immigrants at Columbia University is demanding that school officials give them free health care. The illegal immigrants also want the Ivy League school to institute compulsory “sensitivity training” for professors and administrators.

The illegal immigrant group, called Undocumented Students Initiative (UndoCU for short), presented its list of 13 demands on Facebook last week.

Among its 13 demands, the group calls for “full reimbursement” of health insurance fees for students who are illegal immigrants. Currently, Columbia only reimburses illegal immigrant students for “portions of these fees,” the document says.

As Campus Reform notes, Columbia — like virtually every other college in the United States — requires enrolled students to maintain health insurance. Columbia students who are not sufficiently insured by their families must pay up to $3,000 each year in health insurance fees.

A single year of tuition, fees and room and board at Columbia costs $68,300. However, students whose families have total incomes of less than $60,000 typically attend the Ivy League bastion for free — with zero loans for parents or students.

The illegal immigrants at Columbia say they are unsatisfied with the school’s generous financial aid.

“Some of us were on the verge of homelessness. Some, including their families, are at high risk of deportation,” the UndoCU Facebook post claims. “That the university is not active in aiding and ameliorating these problems demonstrates Columbia’s lack of intrinsic interest in its undocumented students.”

As such, the Columbia University UndoCU illegal immigrants group demands “specialized fundraising for undocumented students” to underwrite “undocumented student specific scholarships and grants.”

The illegal immigrant group also demands mandatory “sensitivity training” for professors, teaching assistants “and all other staff in terms of immigration language and rhetoric.”

The group compares discussions of illegal immigration to discussions about sex. “Much like sexual health training, it is imperative that immigration subjects be treated with the proper language and information. It is unacceptable for students to be called ‘illegal’ in their own classrooms or for professors to tell us to ‘get legal,’” UndoCU declares.

Additional ultimatums include a demand for “specifically trained immigration counselors as well as counselors trained in trauma” and a demand for “career counselors who understand” the “unique situation” of illegal immigrants “and the sensitive attention it demands.”

The UndoCU group also wants illegal immigrant students to be reimbursed for a $70 fee charged to international students.

 

 

 

 

Michigan Taxpayers Spend $928.677.050 Per Year On Illegal Aliens

Already bankrupt states are all reporting staggering costs related to illegal immigration, these costs will continue to spiral as long as Barrack Hussein Obama occupies the White House. The Obama administration policy of “votes for amnesty” will have devasting effects on every real American lives in years to come. Those of us left with jobs under the Obama regime will be forced to pay more of our diminishing incomes in taxes while seeing even less back in services. Elitist politicans in Washington pass unfunded mandates upon state and local governments every year which cost taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars every year. These unfunded mandates are a devasting burden on states already hammered by the socialist policies of Barrack Hussein Obama. These illegal aliens pay ZERO in taxes while STEALING billions in undeserved social welfare benefits while also using unusually high hours of time from public safety agencies. Start adding to this the massive increase in crimes like murder, rapes and robbery and you can see the devasting toll communities are hit wth. The crime statistics are so bad  the Holder justice department refuses to release them. There are reports showing 12 Americans are murdered daily by illegal aliens, while 13 are killed by drunk illegal alien drivers – for another annual death toll of 4,745. That’s 23,725 since Sept. 11, 2001. While no one – in or out of government – tracks all U.S. accidents caused by illegal aliens, the statistical and anecdotal evidence suggests many of last year’s 42,636 road deaths involved illegal aliens.

A report by the AAA Foundation for Traffic Study found 20 percent of fatal accidents involve at least one driver who lacks a valid license. In California, another study showed that those who have never held a valid license are about five times more likely to be involved in a fatal road accident than licensed drivers. These numbers dwarf the the numbers of Americans killed by Al-Qaeda and look at what we have spent on the “war on terror”, why is the Obama administration so hell bent on releasing these real terrorist on the American people. We should bring the troops home deploy them along our border, use the freed up CBP to sweep cities polluted with illegal aliens and stop allowing them access to health care, education and other social welfare programs. Companies who knowingly employ them should be heavily fined and illegals should have there assets seized to repay taxpayer then deported.

(CNSNews.com) – Michigan is spending nearly $1 billion a year  on illegal immigrants, according to state lawmaker Dave Agema, which  amounts to about $8,075 for each taxpayer in that state.

Michigan Rep. Agema, who represents the 74th district, Grandville, wrote a letter to the editor of Michigan Live explaining that the added costs of providing health care, education,  welfare, jails, and human services for illegal immigrants is nearly $1  billion per year.

Agema cited the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) 2010 study, “The Fiscal Burden of Illegal Immigration on U.S. Taxpayers,” which found that an estimated 115,000 illegal aliens cost the state and local governments of Michigan $928,677,050.

The study uses estimates for illegal immigrant populations against  government data on expenditures for various programs, state by state.   Nationwide, the impact of illegal immigration costs $113 billion, in  combined federal and state spending, according to FAIR.

In Michigan,  FAIR found that K-12 education takes the largest share for spending on  illegal immigrants, with $314.1 million.  Other spending (state and  local) includes: General ($225.3 million); Welfare ($142.6 million);  Justice ($66 million); Limited English Proficiency (LEP) education  ($63.2 million); Medicaid ($62.4 million); and SCHIP ($25.2 million).

“I have witnessed through my business experience as a consultant for a  tool and die business the effect illegal immigration has on the cost of  doing business at a state level,” Agema writes to describe his position on illegal immigration on his website.

“This burden reduces profitability, lowers pay, and decreases  benefits for existing employees who are either American citizens or  documented workers,” he said.

According to FAIR’s estimates, the cost for each illegal immigrant to the Michigan taxpayer amounts to $8,075.

Currently only 62% of the country is employed while over 148 million Americans receive entitlements.When Social Security, Medicare and unemployment benefits are included, nearly half of the nation households receive a government check. The fact is most of the wealthy unlike Obama earned there wealth by working harder, taking more chances and sometime failing more then the average American. We should celebrate success and encourage it, that’s where future job growth will come. If big government spending created so much why are so many people struggling more then ever. Democrats Hypocrisy And Bain Capital

What do Oprah, Yale U, California teachers and Illinois public employees have in common? Hint: It rhymes with “Bain Capital”

When President Barack Obama and/or his surrogates – including Uncle Crazy Joe Biden – convene in Charlotte, NC, expect to hear much more talk about how that terrible, awful, no-good, greedy, heartless vulture Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney was a cold-hearted, conniving, cheating capitalist when he worked in the private sector.

Do not expect, however, to hear Oprah Winfrey, public employees anywhere, professors or administrators at elite universities or teachers’ unions say one negative thing about the Collectivist in Chief Obama or one positive thing about Moneybags Mitt. Those typically left-winging types may not mouth the words, but they’ve already voted with their pocketbooks.

Deroy Murdock, in a column in the New York Post, has done the country a great service by exposing the hypocrisy of the Obamaphiles listed above. You see, gentle reader, left-wing institutions of all types have invested their money with – EGADS! – Bain Capital.

Oprah cried (along with Clint Eastwood) when Obama won in ’08, but her foundation bet with Bain. So did the Metropolitan Museum of Art. So did the Heinz Endowments, funded with money made by the company that made the fortune of failed presidential candidate and ineffective Sen. John Kerry’s wife, ketchup company Heinz.

CalSTRS has pumped some $1.25 billion into Bain.”

Ironic how government-worker pension funds invested at least $1.56 billion with Bain, no? Interesting how so many incubators of liberal thought turned over almost $425 million to cut-throat capitalists instead of a community organizer, no?

But, wait. The boards of these institutions are required to search for the best returns on the money entrusted to them (see Duran’s quote above) if they are to fulfill their fiduciary responsibilities by making investments a “prudent person” would make. We’ll find out on November 6 if the American electorate makes the prudent choice about who best understands and can best handle economic issues and generate the best returns for America.
