More Crony Capitalism, Obamacare Latest Union Kickback

February 23, 2012 Leave a comment

You wonder why all these big labor unions support Barrack Hussein Obama so much? Because the financial kickbacks more they make up for the millions spent. The “Chicago Way” of politics is too reward your patrons and to punish and bully your enemies. Just look at the thug tactics Obama used to screw the GM bond holders and the cushy deals the big gangster unions got. This socialist bullshit is one of the many Obama policies keeping real unemployment at 15% plus. Why invest in the economy when this thugocracy can just show up and say sorry where dissolving your investment you can take these pennies or take nothing. And if you make any media complaints you just may find my enforcer in the Justice Department going through your business records. GM was a horrible run company with insane union contracts and should of gone bankrupt. But old Barry just rigged the game and bailed out his big labor buddies. Now Obama is using OBAMACARE to kickback taxpayer cash to big labor union pals far and wide.

Freelancers Union receives $340 million in grants for ObamaCare

By Adam Bitely — More political payola for Big Labor. The Freelancers Union has reportedly received $340 million in grants for ObamaCare implementation. Could this money be political bribery funds from the Obama administration?

On Capitol Hill, Rep. Dave Camp is looking into the matter. According to a report from Fox News, “Camp questioned whether the group was even eligible, describing the loan as a ‘reward’ for ‘political friends.’”

It seems that it has become a matter of routine inside the Obama administration to use ObamaCare grants to pay off friends and allies. Just look at the case of the taxpayer money sent to the Saul Alinsky-affiliated group in Wisconsin.

The last we heard from the Freelancers Union their founder and executive director Sara Horowitz was heaving praise on Occupy Wall Street movement:

It’s hard to ignore the signs: One percent of the population controls 40% of the wealth in this country. Financial institutions, after a decade of living large off riskier and riskier bets, are passing along costs to consumers. The unemployment rate for people under the age of 30 is nearly 17%. And it’s not just the poor. The Middle Class are being squeezed from every direction. Is it any wonder that people have taken to the streets to Occupy Wall Street?

We know that as a country we can’t sustain this level of inequality for much longer. In the short term, we need to update the New Deal so that the protections envisioned by FDR are realized for the Gig Economy – the 30% of our workforce who are excluded from basic worker protections and whose “jobs” last months instead of years. That means creating portable health insurance that workers can take from gig to gig and revising our unemployment system to account for the millions of people who are currently left out of it.

But in the long term, our best bet to prevent another Great Recession is to stop thinking that benefits are provided by an employer and support systems are delivered through the government. Those days are slipping away, and it’s time to completely shift our thinking. We need to come up with new, creative ways to solve these problems by coming together in what I call New Mutualism: People with shared interests cooperatively building solutions to the problems they face.

Wall Street won’t remain occupied forever. But the spirit of the protests can live on, especially if we can channel the anger, frustration, and hope on display in Zuccotti Park into new institutions that balance people, community, a living wage, and basic supports with reasonable profits.

White House economic team never believed ‘stimulus’ would work

White House economic team never believed ‘stimulus’ would work

Is anybody really shocked to hear to that even Obama’s advisers knew the stimulus was fraud. All Barrack Hussein Obama’s “Hope and Change” rhetoric produced was a country with less hope and little change in our pockets. This Saul Alinsky wannabee who is surrounded by the lunatic fringe of the radical far-left has no clue how an economy works. There infatuation with government run by centralized planning is a historically failed model. There is not a single example in the entire history of the world where a democracy has flourished run by snobby elitists who think they know better. There is virtually no one in the entire Obama inner circle or economic team that has had success in private sector job creation. Government numbers put the cost of a stimulus created job at $278.000 a piece, does anybody outside of Washington think that’s not insane? On what planet is that a responsible use of the taxpayers money. When elitists in Washington dole out hundred’s of billion’s of dollars they are picking and choosing who wins and loses. That’s not how a capitalist based economy should work, there lies the dirty little secret. Barrack Hussein Obama does not believe in capitalism or America. The entire Obama,Pelosi and Reid stimulus was an exercise in crony capitalism and political paybacks. The two textbook examples are the GM bailout and Solyndra. The labor unions got a massive kickback and the bond holders got screwed and bullied at GM. The Solyndra executives who all where big Obama campaign bundlers all walked away with millions while the taxpayers lost half a billion dollars in that scam. After all the new debt Obama has saddled the country with there is nothing to show it did anything but kickback hundreds of billions to his campaign donors.

By Bill Wilson — Former White House Council of Economic Advisors head Christina Romer apparently never thought the $800 billion “stimulus” that was supposed to turn the economy around would work, a new book shedding light on the early days of the Obama Administration says.

A memo brought to light in “The Escape Artists” by Noam Scheiber shows Romer originally proposed a spending plan that totaled $1.8 trillion, but the figure was dismissed as politically infeasible by Larry Summers, Director of the White House Economic Council. Romer came back with a watered down proposal of $1.2 trillion, but that was left out of the final proposal brought before Barack Obama himself.

Nonetheless, even though the final proposal was a full $1 trillion short of what she thought would work, Romer penned the political document that justified the $800 billion figure. Romer’s “The Job Impact of the American Recovery and Reinvestment” warned that “The recovery plan needs to be large to counter the tremendous job loss that is likely to occur.”

Based on her methodology, she wrote, “the package contains enough stimulus that we can have confidence that it will create sufficient jobs to meet the President-Elect’s goals.”

Then Obama was promising to “save or create” 3 million jobs, a promise he fell way short of. Since he took office, the labor force participation rate has dropped from 65.7 percent to 63.7 percent, resulting in over 4.7 million people have been dropped out of the civilian labor force.

In fact, there were almost 142.2 million people employed when Obama took office. Now, that number dropped to a low of 137.9 million in Dec. 2009 and has only risen to 141.6 million since then. The economy is not even keeping up with the growth of the population, let alone reclaiming a single one of the lost 8 million jobs in this recession.

Romer’s call for more “stimulus” was similar to that of New York Times columnist Paul Krugman. In 2009, he claimed that the Obama “stimulus” was too small to fill a $2.1 trillion hole. So, with the sorry state particularly of the labor market, were Romer and Krugman right?

When actions by the Federal Reserve to expand its balance sheet are taken into consideration — it purchased $1.25 trillion of mortgage-backed securities, $150 billion of Fannie and Freddie debt, and $1.191 of trillion treasuries since Jan. 2009 — the total “stimulus” issued by government has totaled nearly $3.4 trillion.

That exceeds what Romer and Krugman called for by over $1 trillion — with little to show for it. Romer had claimed if the “stimulus” passed that unemployment would be down to 6 percent by now.

Not only did it pass, but the Fed threw $2.6 trillion on top of it for good measure. Yet, a true measure of unemployment that takes into account the drop in working age adults from being counted by the government shows that rate is at 11.01 percent. Those underemployed at 17.6 percent.

All together, that’s 28 million people that cannot find full time work in the Obama economy —in spite of the trillions of dollars the government threw at the problem.

“The Escape Artists” provides a convenient narrative for Obama apologists, following an old dictum from Britain: “The king can do no wrong.” If the king made any poor decisions, it was because he received poor advice.

In this case, Larry Summers is portrayed preventing Obama from ever seeing Romer’s original memo calling for $1.8 trillion in “stimulus”. The evidence, sadly, shows that it would not have made a difference — because the whole concept was flowed from the get-go.

War with Mexico, its time Washington wake up.

February 19, 2012 Leave a comment

Kidnapping Capital Of The USA

You really have to wonder what it will take for the Obama administration to defend the borders of our country. We are basically at war with Mexico but for petty self serving reasons the politicans in Washington won’t admit it. No other country on the planet would tolerate the crap we put up wit from Mexico. We have spend hundreds of billions of dollars a year to fight Al-Qaeda overseas while pennies on the dollars are used to combat Mexican terrorism. The entire country of Mexico is corrupt from to to bottom, and now its corruption pouring into our country. The violent war being waged in Mexico for drug routes into the U.S. is entirely there governments fault. For decades the ruling elites participated or failed to address the growing power of the drug lords. From top to bottom parties like the PRI where complicit in the drug trafficking. The local and federal police in Mexico along with the Mexican military from top to bottom participate in the drug trade. Along our entire southern border Americans our being terrorized by violent heavily armed narco terrorists, while our governments looks the other way.

Every year more Americans are being murdered, raped, beaten and robbed by these animals. The city of Phoenix, Arizona has become the kidnapping capital of America, with more incidents than any other city in the world outside of Mexico City and over 370 cases last year alone. Violent Mexican street gangs are spreading throughout the U.S. with direct ties to the drug lords in Mexico. These gang members should be hunted by U.S. military forces and put down using the same tactics we use overseas. These gang members and cartel terrorist are no different then the insurgents we fight in Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia and the dozen or more other countries we have troops now actively engaged. In fact Americans are likely to be killed by a cartel terrorist, gang member or illegal alien then a card carrying member of Al-Qaeda. The National Parks along the southern border have signs warning Americans to stay out due to safety concerns. Ranchers and land owners along the SE borders have to barricade themselves inside there homes after dark for fear of stumbling upon dozens of AK-47 touting Mexican smugglers. Even in state parks in Northern California hikers have been murdered after stumbling upon Mexican gang members protecting there U.S. based marijuana grows.

Border Violence Forces Parks Closed

Mexican Drug Cartels Set up Shop In CA Parks

There are statistics showing up to fifteen thousand gang related deaths every year in America, most of which are tied to the drugs coming from Mexico A confidential California Department of Justice study reported in 1995 that 60 percent of the twenty thousand members of the 18th Street Gang in California are illegal aliens. If you saw a news story about a country who’s neighbor was conducting armed raids on its citizens killing and kidnapping them, violating there border thousands of times every day. Using aircraft and submarines to deliver harmfull substances that kill its citizens, deploying violent heavily armed thugs in cities throughout the country to terrorize and control the streets. Taking large sums of currency and shipping it back across the border while depleting resources. We have gone to war for a lot less, I think most folks would see this and say damn they should stand up for themselves and fight back. It’s time our government stand up and put the country ahead of petty self serving politcal BS.

DOJ: Sinaloa Cartel’s Influence Extends Well Beyond Border Into ‘Much’ of the U.S.
By Edwin Mora

The Sinaloa cartel’s Ovidio Limon Sanchez, one of the most-wanted U.S. drug fugitives in Mexico, is photographed after being detained by Mexican soldiers in November 2011 (AP Photo).

(CNSNews.com) – The Sinaloa criminal cartel uses its control of drug corridors on both sides of the Arizona-Mexico border to extend its influence well beyond the border area into “much of the United States,” according to the Department of Justice.

U.S. prosecutors have described Sinaloa as “one of the largest narcotics trafficking organizations in the world.”

A member of the cartel, who is facing federal charges in Chicago, claims that he was allowed to traffic tons of drugs into the United States under an immunity deal granted by the U.S. government in exchange for information on rival cartels – a deal allegedly linked to the aborted law enforcement operation known as “Fast and Furious.”

In its Drug Market Analysis 2011 for Arizona, the DOJ’s National Drug Intelligence Center reports that the cartel “dominates drug trafficking routes in Sonora, Mexico, and also controls the drug trafficking corridors in Arizona adjacent to Sonora.”

“The numerous Mexican organizations that constitute the Sinaloa Cartel, such as the Guzmán-Loera and Zambada-Garcia DTOs [drug trafficking organizations] control most drug corridors that cross the international border between Mexico and Arizona, including the Tohono O’odham Nation Indian Reservation and the Nogales POE [U.S. port of entry],” it says.

“The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) estimates that the Sinaloa Cartel-affiliated DTOs control approximately 90 percent of the drugs that cross the border into Arizona. The cartel also controls much of the illicit money and weapons trafficking along the Arizona–Mexico border and within most areas of the Arizona HIDTA [High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area] region.

“The Sinaloa Cartel’s wholesale distribution of heroin and marijuana extends beyond Arizona HIDTA counties to much of the United States,” the analysis adds.

“Local law enforcement agencies within the HIDTA region report that most of the marijuana and heroin that transits the Mexico–Arizona border area is destined for other domestic markets, including those in East Coast states such as New York, Georgia, and Florida, and Midwestern states such as Missouri and Iowa,” the report continues.

“Additionally, the Sinaloa Cartel smuggles large quantities of drugs into the United States through California that members use to supply the Arizona HIDTA region as well as other domestic markets.”

According to the White House, the HIDTA is a federally funded program created by Congress through the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1988.

It brings together federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies in task forces that conduct investigations into traffickers in areas identified as “critical drug-trafficking regions of the United States.” HIDTA-designated regions are located across the continental U.S. including the nation’s capital, as well as in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The DOJ’s 2011 analysis focuses on HIDTA regions in Arizona.

“The Arizona HIDTA region is a major entry point for illicit drugs, particularly marijuana and heroin, transported from Mexico to the United States,” it states. “Approximately half of the marijuana smuggled from Mexico typically transits Arizona HIDTA counties. Seizure statistics indicate that Mexican traffickers are increasing marijuana and heroin smuggling from Mexico into the region.

“The Sinaloa Cartel represents the greatest organized criminal drug threat in the Arizona HIDTA counties through its continued dominance over drug trafficking into and through the region.”

Napolitano Admits Obama Administration Is Not Deporting Illegal Alien Criminals

Small numbers of illegal aliens deported say’s the troll

If there is one single issue that showcases Obama’s fundamental hatred of America and our nation it’s his immigration policies. Let’s get one thing straight, ever illegal alien is a criminal. Radical liberals like Obama love to pick and choose what laws they want to obey and then whine, cry and call everything else unjust and racist. This is fine and dandy for too bit hustlers and community organizers but not the president of the United States. Every person who chooses to violate our sovereign border is breaking federal laws and as president it’s Barrack Hussein Obama’s job to enforce those laws. Our nation can no longer take this onslaught of human debris stealing jobs, driving down wages and draining our local, state and federal governments dry. The middle-class taxpayer is bearing the entire burden of Obama’s hatred of America. Our school’s suffer, our health care suffers, our public safety forces suffer, every aspect of our lives is diminished due to Obama’s hatred of middle-america. The vast majority of these criminals pay ZERO in TAXES while consuming massive public services and worst of all they have little desire to integrate into civilized society. The time is coming when middle america is going to take drastic and harsh measures to save our way of life. The elites our crushing the country to maintain there riches, people with nothing to lose will be forced to respond.

Thomas Jefferson said it best “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it’s natural manure.”

Let’s hope the ballot box prevails but neither party seems to have any interest in real reform or constitutional law. Our governance is being sold to the highest bidder or the biggest whiners. Less then fifty percent of the populace is paying 100 percent of the bills with little to none representation.

Napolitano: ‘A Small Number’ of Illegal Aliens Not Linked to Other Crimes Were Deported Last Year
By Penny Starr

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano testified at a House Appropriations Committee Homeland Security subcommittee hearing on Feb. 15, 2012. (CNSNews.com/Penny Starr)

(CNSNews.com) – A “small number” of illegal aliens who had “committed no other crime” apart from being in the United States unlawfully were deported in fiscal year 2011, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano told lawmakers Wednesday

“One of the things we must do in DHS [Department of Homeland Security] is prioritize the mission,” she said during a House Appropriations Committee Homeland Security subcommittee hearing.

“And those that have committed no other crime, and we look at other factors – length of time in the United States, family relations, ties in the United States, service in the military and the like. Those would be low priority matters.”

Napolitano was responding to questions put by Rep. Hal Rogers (R-Ala.), the House Appropriations Committee chairman, who wanted to know how many of the estimated 14-20 million illegal aliens believed to be in the country were being deported by the DHS.

She replied that roughly 400,00 individuals were removed from the U.S. in FY2011, 90 percent of whom fell under priorities set out in March 2011 by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), focusing on criminals and other dangerous illegal aliens.

“But were there any deported that were just simply here illegally?” Rogers asked.

“There were a small number that would have been picked up, and yes,” Napolitano replied.

She explained that 90 percent of those deported “were in one of our categories” while the remaining 10 percent were deported “for a variety of reasons.”

In the case of “those that have committed no other crime” the department would take into consideration factors such as length of stay in the country, military service and family ties in the U.S.

When Aderholt asked whether that amounted to “amnesty,” Napolitano disagreed, saying the term was “way too overused with respect to immigration.” She defended the DHS by citing the 10 percent who are removed for reasons other than criminal status.

According to DHS and ICE figures, 396,906 illegal aliens were deported in fiscal year 2011. Of all those removed, 9.5 percent are listed as “other removable aliens.”

On March 2, 2011, ICE Director John Morton issued a memo outlining priorities for the apprehension, detention, and removal of aliens.

The three priorities listed in the memo were: Aliens who pose a danger to national security or a risk to public safety; recent illegal entrants; and aliens who are fugitives or otherwise obstruct immigration controls.

Transcript of exchange between Rogers and Napolitano:

Rogers: I want to ask you about our illegal immigration deportation policy. I know that you are deporting criminal aliens and I congratulate you on that. That’s what we all want. My question, though, deals with those non-criminal illegal aliens — people who have not committed a crime in this country, or at least convicted it. Are we deporting any of those people?

Napolitano: Yes.

Rogers: How many?

Napolitano: Well, FY ’11 – the last year we have numbers for – we removed from the country roughly 400,000 individuals. Of those, 55 percent had criminal convictions. That’s a much higher number than a couple years ago when it was in the low 30s. But the remainder fit within other priorities – they were fugitives, some existing warrants, they were recent border crossers, they were repeat violators – they meet other of or priority guidelines in ICE.

Rogers: But were there any deported that were just simply here illegally?

Napolitano: There were a small number that would have been picked up, and yes.

Rogers: Yes.

Napolitano: I would, well in FY ’11, 90 percent of all those deported were in one of our categories. They were criminal aliens, recent border crossers, repeat violators, fugitives from warrants, and that remainder – 10 percent had a variety of reasons why they were deported. Some of them were deported because they were picked up in conjunction with others who were being arrested. There’s a variety of reasons, as you know.

Rogers: You say recent border crossers.

Napolitano: Excuse me please?

Rogers: What do you mean recent border crossers?

Napolitano: Those that we picked up near the border. We are actually making – we are not just turning them around and busing them back across the border. We’re actually putting them into the system. They get a record. They are actually removed from the country. That’s helpful in a number of ways, one of which is it gives us greater flexibility of how to deal with them if we find them as a repeat violator.

Rogers: There are an estimated 13, 14 million – or whatever – illegal aliens in the country. The great bulk of whom have not committed a crime. What is the policy of the administration on, ah, dealing with those illegal aliens who have not committed a crime and are not recent border crossers?

Napolitano: Or in other category priorities. Well, as you said in your opening statement, you know, one of the things we must do in DHS is prioritize the mission. And those that have committed no other crime – and we look at other factors; length of time in the United States, family relations – ties in the United States – service in the military, and the like. Those would be low priority matters.

Rogers: Well, some people say, you’ve given those people amnesty; that they no longer need worry about being here illegally. What do you say to that?

Napolitano: Well, I think the amnesty is, quite frankly, way too overused with respect to immigration. This is an area that profoundly needs to be reexamined by the Congress for a whole host of reasons. But the fact of the matter is, the numbers, as I laid out to you in FY ’11, 90 percent of those removed, did fall within mission priorities as we have stated them. Ten percent did not, but they were still removed from the country.
